Planning permission submitted for Chesterfield care home

Self Architects have recently submitted a full planning application for a new 40-bedroom care home at Lifestyle Village in the Old Whittington Conservation area in Chesterfield. Part refurbishment of an existing building on site and part new build, the new facility will create a tranquil and high-quality setting for residents and includes several socialising and communal spaces that spill out into the surrounding landscape.

The proposed design responds to a number of challenging site conditions and existing vegetation banks to create a building that sits harmoniously within its setting. We look forward to progressing the project in collaboration with the Local Authority and the Client.
