As people take more control of their free time, the value of creating a rich experience becomes more important to our clients in differentiating their offer.

Our work in the Leisure sector is broad and includes many different types of bars, hotels, restaurants and other leisure facilities. In designing for leisure, we create unique environments which attract and retain customer loyalty, and return on investment for clients.

Self has a long-established track record in the leisure industry with projects for both national and local clients. We were appointed by the owner of a Derbyshire pub/restaurant to create a Boutique Hotel in a sensitive Peak District National Park location. The design uses timber frame construction, with traditional elevational treatment of local reclaimed stone and natural slate roofs, whilst the interior finishes are very contemporary.

We also work for national hotel chains on their programmes of new build hotels and lodges across the country.
